REVENUE NATURE GROUPS in tally

There are 28 groups which properties are given below-

          First we study about all revenue nature groups.

1.  REVENUE NATURE GROUPS- all those expenses which we do for our company time to time called revenue nature expenses. These groups are consist these type of expenses (ledgers) are called revenue nature groups.

Revenue nature groups are following-

                I.            Purchase account-the goods which we purchase from our sundry creditor or by cash are called purchase and it comes under purchase account.

Ledger creation-

Path- G.O.T. (gateway of tally) -->a/c info (account info) -->ledgers -->single ledger creation.

 

Note- in any ledger creation in “under” option we always select under group from “list of groups”, which appear when we go on “under” option.

                II.            Sales account- the goods which we sales to our sundry debtors or for cash are called sales and it comes under sales account.

                III.            Direct expenses- all those expenses which increase value of goods are called direct expenses. All those ledgers which represent it come under direct expenses.

Ex-wages (paid) octroi (paid) and factory light-- these types of ledgers are come under direct expenses.

                IV.            Indirect expenses- all those expenses which do not direct expenses are known as indirect expenses. All those ledgers which represent it come under indirect expenses.

Ex-salary (paid), rent (paid) and commission (paid) -- these types of ledgers are come under indirect expenses.

                V.            Direct income- all those incomes which we earned by non-trading sources (school, coaching, professional fee by doctors or others etc.) are called direct income. All those ledgers which represent it come under direct income.

Ex-fee and consulting revenue—these types of ledgers are come under direct expenses.

                VI.            Indirect income-all those incomes which we earned by trading sources are called indirect incomes. All those ledgers which represent it come under indirect income.

Ex-rent (received), salary (received) and commission (received) – these types of ledgers are come under indirect income.
