HOW TO MAINTAIN INVENTORY

We can maintain inventory by following these steps:-

Example:-

Ramlal & Sons Company purchased 10 pieces of Onida t.v. for Rs. 7,000 per piece and sold 5 pieces of Onida t.v. for Rs. 10,000 per piece  to Shyamlal & Sons Company.
Record the above transactions.

To maintain:-

First of all create a company.



And then create ledger as follow:-

Path for ledger creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> accounts info--> ledger--> create (single).



And now create stock group as follow:-

To Create Stock Group: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Info--> Stock Group--> Create.


 And then create stock item:-

To Create Stock Item: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Info--> Stock Item--> Create.



 Now do voucher entry as follow:-

Path for voucher creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> accounting voucher--> F9 (Purchase Voucher).


Now view stock summary:-

Path for view stock summary: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> stock summary.


Now again do voucher entry for sales voucher.


Path for voucher creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> accounting voucher--> F8 (Sales Voucher).


(In the sales voucher, party’s a/c name will be Shyamlal & sons company, so there press “Alt + C” and create ledger of Shyamlal & Sons Company under Sundry Debtors).

Now view stock summary:-

Path for view stock summary: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> stock summary.


Press “Alt + F1” for more details.
