GROUP

Group is the collection of ledgers. There are 28 pre-define groups in Tally.

We use following steps to view–

a.     Select “account info” option from “gateway of tally” menu.

b.    Select “groups” option from it.

c.     Select “display” from multiple groups menu.

After it list of groups will be open as follows-

Select “all items” option then we can see the list of 28 pre-define groups in tally.

          In these 28 groups 1^st 15 groups are called Primary groups and other 13 groups are called secondary or sub-group.

          In 15 primary groups 6 groups are called revenue nature group and other 9 groups are called capital groups.
